Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use apps made by outofmindapps, starting with Wordesso. By using our apps you agree to them. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies to every app you download from the App Store.

Your account

Wordesso asks you to create an account so your progress is saved and synced across your devices. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete it at any time in Settings → Account → Delete my account data.

Wordesso Plus and free trials

• Plus is an optional subscription sold by Apple through the App Store. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Learning content

We work hard to keep words, translations and example sentences correct, but language is messy and mistakes happen. Wordesso is a study aid, not a certified translation or exam tool. If you spot an error, tell us at hello@outofmindapps.com and we will fix it.

Some example sentences come from the Tatoeba project under the CC BY 2.0 FR licence, and the "Look up" dictionary uses open dictionary data under CC BY-SA licences. Credits are shown in the app under Settings → About.

Fair use

Please don't copy our apps or their content in bulk, try to break or overload our servers, or use the apps to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

Our responsibility

We provide our apps "as is". We do our best to keep them working and your data safe, but we can't promise they will always be free of bugs or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.

Changes

We may update these terms as our apps grow. We will change the date at the top, and tell you in the app if a change matters.
