Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data outofmindapps collects in its apps, starting with Wordesso, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We wrote it in plain language. If anything is unclear, email hello@outofmindapps.com.
The short version
- We collect only what the app needs to work: your account and your learning progress.
- We don't show ads, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data.
- We don't use third-party analytics or advertising tools in our apps.
- You can delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time.
Who we are
outofmindapps is an independent app studio run by Yelyzaveta Kibets. We are responsible for your personal data under this policy. Contact: hello@outofmindapps.com.
What we collect in Wordesso

What stays on your iPhone
- Reminders are scheduled on your device. We don't send them from a server.
- Word pronunciation uses the voices built into iOS, on your device.
- Widgets read a small file that the app writes on your device.
- When the app downloads a dictionary file, our hosting provider sees your IP address, as any website would. We don't link it to your account.
Payments
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card or payment details. Apple tells us only whether your subscription is active.
Who processes data for us

These providers process data only to deliver their service to us. Some of them process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards the law requires.
Legal basis (for people in the EU and UK)
- Contract: your account and progress backup are needed to provide the app you signed up for.
- Consent: marketing emails, only if you opt in. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the service secure and answering support requests.
How long we keep data
We keep your account and progress backup until you delete your account. When you delete it, we remove your account, progress backup, marketing choice and its history, and your Apple token from our database. Support emails are kept only as long as we need them to help you.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and you can object to how we use it. In Wordesso:
- Delete: Settings → Account → Delete my account data.
- Export: Settings → Advanced → Export my data (Plus), or email us for a copy on the free plan.
- Marketing emails: change your choice in Settings → Account.
For anything else, email hello@outofmindapps.com. If you are in the EU or UK and you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Wordesso is suitable for all ages and contains no objectionable content. Creating an account requires an email address. If you are under 13, or under the minimum age for online accounts in your country, please ask a parent or guardian before signing up. If you believe a child has given us data without permission, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects your rights in a significant way, we will tell you in the app.
